The I88-U1Z RIW K is a slow-action insulation-enclosed limit switch with a latching function, featuring a 1NO/1NC configuration. Its enclosure and cover are made of self-extinguishing PA6 material with a UL94V-0 rating. The normally-closed contact corresponds to the movement of the impact pin upon actuation. The contact opening or closing time is controlled by the approach speed. There is a large distance or actuating travel between the normally-closed and normally-open contact functions. The switching points are the same in both forward and reverse travel.

The 6086117017 insulation-enclosed switch has integrated switching elements directly in the molded enclosure, making them non-replaceable complete switching devices. Galvanic isolation is achieved through insulation material or air gaps, providing isolation of electrically conducted parts. In devices with multiple contact elements, galvanically isolated contact elements allow for switching voltages with different potentials, such as the normally closed contact in a safety circuit.
